Principal's Message

Welcome Back, Gator Families!
We are thrilled to welcome you to a new school year at Tanglewood Middle School—whether you’re returning or joining us for the first time, we are excited to have you as part of our vibrant and growing Gator community.
This year, we are ready to LEVEL UP—in academics, community, and character. As an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, we will continue to embrace the IB Learner Profile as a core part of who we are. From being risk-takers and thinkers to principled and caring individuals, these traits guide our students to grow into global-minded leaders.
Before the first day of school, we have several opportunities for families to get connected:
•    August 8 – Gator Camp for all students new to Tanglewood. This is a fun, interactive way for students to learn their schedules, meet teachers, and start strong.
•    August 11 – Grade-Level Parent Orientations. Come meet our team, hear about expectations for the year, and learn how we’ll partner with you to support your child’s growth.
